This is a 1:200 scale plastic snap fit airplane model from Flight Miniatures of the Boeing 747-400 aircraft in the colors of Air India. Air-India received its first Boeing 747-400 VT-ESM christened "KONARK" on August 4, 1993. The airline began commercial service of the 747-400 with this aircraft on September 1, 1993, with a flight from Mumbai, India, to London, England. The Boeing 747—a four-engine, wide-body, long-range jetliner—set new standards for the aviation industry in 1969. The 400 series 747 incorporates major aerodynamic improvements over earlier 747 models, including the addition of winglets to reduce drag, new avionics, a new flight deck, and the latest in-flight entertainment systems. The Boeing 747-400 is currently the only 747 model in production. Scale: 1:200 • Length: 13.75 in • Wingspan: 13 in
